The Chetopa Historical Museum is open from  April 1 to October 31 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Museum is closed during the winter months, but will open for appointments, group tours or for genealogy purposes.  Other displays will be featured in the future.

ABOVE:  This is one of our many displays for viewing at the Museum.  This window display contains:  two white wedding dresses of yesteryears, hats, shoes, jewelry, baby clothes and other beautiful pieces.

ABOVE:  The old fashion kitchen has a 1935 refrigerator, an old fashion cook stove, a collection of irons, butter molds, a kitchen cabinet and much more.

Mrs. McKnight's, wedding dress of May 19, 1887.  It was made of Blue Duchess satin and trimmed with cut steel buttons and beads.
