The parks here are beautiful and run along the Neosho River.  In this picture camping locations are right across the river.

Home

Welcome to the City of Chetopa’s home site.  We are a community of approximately 1200 to 1300 people and are located in the Southeast corner of Kansas.  We are just a few miles from the Oklahoma and Missouri lines.

The picture to the right is the Neosho River which runs along the east side of Chetopa.  During the summer months campers come to spend days in our parks to fish or just sit and relax.  Chetopa is a great place to catch some catfish.  If you’re in the mood to fish or spend some quiet time come and visit Chetopa.

We will be having our annual Pecan Fest  Saturday, November 15, 2008.  You won’t want to miss this fun filled day.  For a link to sign up for the 5K run go to the Events page.
